Clean Slate Day at the MO Capitol this Wed March 5! Join Women’s Voices Raised for Social Justice this Wed in Jefferson City for Clean Slate Day. 500,000 Missourians with criminal records are eligible under current state law to have certain nonviolent misdemeanor and felony records sealed. However, the existing process is costly and complex, and only 1-2% succeed each year. But with the Clean Slate legislation in MO, the expungement process would provide fairness, safety and second chances to eligible Missourians. They will equip you with all the research and guidance needed for successful advocacy. Find details below and here: https://womensvoicesraised.org/justice-system/#march5cleanslate
